Integrity Soils
Nicole Masters is an independent agroecologist, author, coach and educator.
For over 2 decades Nicole has been recognized as a knowledgeable and dynamic speaker on the topic of soil health.

Her experience has spanned diverse sectors from horticulture, to commercial compost and diverse multi-species livestock systems, traveling from New Zealand across to Australia, United Kingdom and North America. Working in biomes that range from temperate to semi-arid she has witnessed up-close, the power of soil health in making measurable differences in people's lives.

Her company, Integrity Soils delivers coaching and educational programs to producers and organisations spanning over 29 million acres.

In 2021 Integrity Soils shifted away from in-person consultancy, to focus on training the next generation of coaches.

Her book titled “For the Love of Soil; Strategies to Regenerate our Food Production Systems” showcases examples of the tools and principles producers are using to regenerate their soils.

When roads in the US are good, you’ll find her travelling in her Ford 350, horse trailer in tow, working alongside producers to build soil and sink her carbon emissions.
Meagan Lannan
Integrity Soils
Meagan Lannan has the great pleasure to serve on Nicole Masters' international team of agroecological coaches that are training systems-thinking, boots-on-the-ground ecological coaches to work with ranchers and farmers worldwide.

Meagan is an animated, straightforward coach that sparks potential through curious questions to ignite crucial conversations that open gates for action. Her joy in coaching is working with an individual or
team with a story of challenges and transforming those into a reality of possibility and opportunity.
When not coaching humans, Meagan is calling cows.

She and her husband own Barney Creek Livestock, a regenerative adaptive grazing operation in Montana's Paradise Valley in the Greater Yellowstone ecosystem.

Stacey Curcio
Cultivating Wellness
Growing up, my incredible parents ran their own business, which is based on the principles that align with those of Regenerative Agriculture. The business, Resource Consulting Services (RCS), is still thriving 30+ years later, working with individuals, families, corporates and government groups, empowering them to grow productive, profitable agricultural businesses within regenerative landscapes.

I suspect this was what led me down the path of Naturopathy, as the principles of Natural medicine mirror many of those which underpin Regenerative Ag.

After school, I kept my inner gypsy very happy by travelling around and exploring the world before settling in Melbourne to study. After graduating in 2011, my husband and I moved back to sunny Queensland where I owned and operated a successful multi-modality wellness clinic, Gladstone Holistic Health; and in late 2015, I became a Mum (my proudest achievement yet!) and started a new business, Cultivating Wellness.

My husband and I now have two beautiful children and a small farm which allows is to play around with growing our own nutrient-dense, chemical-free food. It’s a work in progress, but our goal is to bring fertility to what was a depleted and barren landscape. We feel it’s our duty as custodians of the land we’re temporarily calling home.

Downunder Covers
We are a family owned and run business specialising in designing multi-species cover crops, forages and custom made blend seed mixes. We plant 1500ac a year of these multi species blends intergrating our livestock operation as part of our soil health program on our 8500 ac cropping program.
Why We Help
We found from our own experience that cover crops are a low risk, low input way to get maximum production above and below the ground, providing great live weight and animal health gains. In addition, cover crops assist in building soil structure, water infiltration, soil biology, water holding capacity, disease and weed supression.
How We Do It
We source the highest quality bare seed that we can inoculate with worm juice and other microbes to enhance germination and quorm sensing between each species. By using a diversity of root architecture and root exudates, the multi-species are able to explore larger areas of soil, making them far more water and nutrient efficent. Each root system has its own unique ability to unlock and solubilise different minerals and nutrients. When put together in well designed mixes, plants will collaborate through quorum sensing and fungal associations to share and release these minerals and nutrients into the soil. This in turn can provide a greater nutrient density to the animals that graze it, resulting in all round gains and gives the earth a greater chance of sequestering and building soil carbon at depth.

Meet Your Hosts
Grahame Rees is an educator of Low Stress Stockhandling and KLR Marketing. His special interest outside doing this work is regenerative agriculture, especially when it comes to education and community.
Having lead 22  producers on a 3 week quest to the USA to learn from some of the best regenerative farmers in the world in 2018 and 2019, he is more enthused than ever to help bring educators like Nicole to Australian producers.

In 2021 Grahame teamed up with Fred Provenza to host a Regen Ag Masterclass which resulted in over 24 hours of video and audio content. He is leading another group to NZ in March 2023 looking at the way Regen NZ farmers operate.

He is looking forward to assisting Nicole to bring her knowledge and skills to
The Future is Now - Farming with Integrity  event in Orange.
When he is not teaching and training you will find Grahame on a stream or lake somewhere, fly fishing with his wife Ros.

What We Stand For...

"We have a culture of ecological organisation and systems thinking with people we work with. "As above, so below."
